USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

REDLANDS, Calif. - Academic awards from the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) were announced recently with the University of Redlands Track & Field teams both being recognized along with seven individuals.

The USTFCCCA annually recognizes team academic achievement with All-Academic awards as well as recognizing individual student-athletes for their athletic and academic achievements.

Both the men's and women's teams were well ahead of the 3.10 benchmark needed to be recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team with the men posting a 3.32 and the women a 3.53. Additionally, two male student-athletes and five female student-athletes were honored as All-Academic athletes for posting GPAs over a 3.30 and ranking among the Top-50 in an individual event or Top-35 in a relay.

The Bulldogs to earn the individual accolades included Gabriel Meunier (Psychology) and Corte Peterson (Undeclared) who both collected recognition for the first time in their careers, Alexandra Ackerman (Psychology) who is a four-time All-Academic team representative, Ciara Aw (Economics) and Ella Bachmeier (Media and Visual Culture Studies) who are both on the All-Academic team for the second straight year and Chloe Bullock (HMS: Health, Medicine, Society), and Sabrina Semmere (Biology) who are both first-time honorees.
