Ciara Aw finishes sixth in long jump at Indoor National Championships | Named an All-American

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ciara Aw (Shoreline, WA) finished sixth in the Long Jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships Friday with a mark of 5.58m/18' 3.75". Her sixth-place finish makes her an All-American for the first time in her career.

Aw came into the championships as the No. 16 seed, but she found a way to get into the top-eight thanks to a third jump distance of 5.58m/18' 3.75". Aw's first jump was 5.16m/16' 11.25", followed by 5.50m/18' 0.50" before she posted her best mark. She closed the competition strong with a sixth and final jump of 5.43m/17' 9.75".

The Bulldogs' other competitor at the championships is Jacob Huset (Tacoma, WA) who competed in the high jump Saturday.
