D3 Glory Days Podcast - NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships

REDLANDS, Calif. - The NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships are this weekend, and the Spotify D3 Glory Days Podcast met up with five of the student-athletes competing, including University of Redlands Graduate Student Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO).

The podcast speaks with each competitor and how they are preparing for the championships.  Cargile will compete in the Mile Run, coming in with the second fastest time in the country (4:07.60) and currently owns the 11th fastest mile time in NCAA Division III history.  Cargile has qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships eight times, three of which have come at the Indoor Track & Field Championships. 

Andrea Lyon (Danville, CA) will join Cargile at the Championships and will compete in the 400m, coming into the meet with the sixth fastest time in the country (57.29).  Lyons has qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships twice, but this is her first time competing at the Indoor Track & Field Championships.   

The championships will be held this Friday-Saturday, March 11-12 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with Winston-Salem and Guilford College serving as hosts.
