REDLANDS, Calif. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester and the University of Redlands Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams made the list.     

Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2023 team grade point averages and represent 17,497 student-athletes.

For the Maroon and Grey on the women's side 18 student-athletes compiled a team cumulative GPA of a 3.69 and have now earned distinction for 15 consecutive semesters.  Then for the men, who had 24 student-athletes combined for a 3.46 cumulative GPA and have now been recognized for 14 straight semesters. 

A combined 21 Bulldogs excelled in the classroom during the spring posting a 3.70 GPA or higher, six of which with perfect 4.0's.  Also, eight of the nine Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) programs were represented on the CSCAA Scholar All-America teams.  

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
