SCIAC Women's Swimming & Diving Weekly Release #11

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week in the eleventh week of voting and University of Redlands sophomore Madison Petschauer (Cary, NC) was named the SCIAC Swimmer of the Week.

Petschauer has now been named the SCIAC Swimmer of the Week twice this season, earning recognition back on October 18, 2021.    

Madison helped lead the Bulldogs to a double dual-meet win over Caltech (181-112) and Occidental (186-110). She helped the Maroon and Grey' 200-yard medley relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 1:51.29 and added individual wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.42) and the 100-yard butterfly (57.65). She also logged a second-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:13.31. 

Redlands returns to the pool this Saturday, January 29 when they host Chapman University beginning at 10:30am.
