Helped the Bulldogs to a 9-9 overall record and a 3-4 conference record ... Went 5-5 in singles and 3-6 in doubles ... Hoffman won his first three singles matches of the season with wins vs. Christopher Newport (Mar. 4) 6-4, 6-1; vs. Vassar (Mar. 9) 3-6, 6-2 [10-5]; and at Cal Lutheran (Mar. 19) 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) ... Got two wins at the Ojai Tournament (Apr. 22-24) with 6-3, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-1 wins ... In doubles he won three-straight matches vs. Amherst (Mar. 16) 8-4; vs. Whitman (Mar. 18) 8-4; and at Cal Lutheran (Mar. 19).
