Won a pair of singles matches to open his collegiate career at the ITA West Regional Championships (Oct. 1-2) ... Went on a three-match winning streak vs. Mary Washington (Mar. 3), vs. Christopher Newport (Mar. 4), and vs. Vassar (Mar. 9) ... Won two more non-conference matches vs. Colby (Mar. 22) and vs. UC Santa Cruz (Mar. 25) with line scores of 6-3, 6-4 and 2-6, 7 (7)-6 (2), 6-2 ... Posted his third multi-match winning streak with two wins at the Ojai 120th Annual Tennis Tournament (Apr. 20, Apr. 24) ... In doubles play, Hester won three of his four matches at the ITA West Regional Championships (Oct. 2) ... Won back-to-back matches with Thomas Reznik vs. George Fox (Mar. 22) ... Ended the season strong with five wins in six matches and did not lose back-to-back matches in his final 10 as he and Jack Mattox won a notable match vs. CMS (Apr. 30) 8-5, as they were the only win of the dual.
