SCIAC Men's Soccer Weekly Release (No. 2)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Athletes of the Week in the second week of voting.  University of Redlands sophomore goalkeeper Seth Lawrence (Redlands, CA) was selected as the Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week following a strong two game stretch between the posts.

Seth helped pace Redlands to a pair of wins including a 4-0 shutout victory over Whitworth, and a 5-1 triumph over Oglethorpe. In 45 minutes of action against Whitworth, Lawrence collected four saves to secure the clean sheet, and then made three saves in the second half of the win over Oglethorpe. He finished with a perfect 1.000 save percentage and didn't surrender a goal.     

He leads the Maroon and Grey into a huge road match-up Wednesday, September 15 when they travel to take on Claremont-Mudd-Scripps beginning at 7:00pm.
