Uni. of Redlands Coming into the Game

The Bulldogs are one game over .500 at 7-6, 3-3 SCIAC.  They currently sit in a tie for fourth in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) standings and are 2-3 here in the month of January with wins over Cal Lutheran and La Verne.  They are also looking to bounce back following their 103-72 loss to Claremont-M-S this past Saturday.  

Occidental College Coming into the Game

The Tigers are over .500 on the season at 8-6, but are currently at the bottom of the conference standings at 2-5.  They have won four of their last six, but have dropped back to back games against Chapman University (95-89) and Whittier College (81-65).  During their four-game winning streak which came from January 14-January 17 they beat West Coast Baptist, UC Santa Cruz, Cal Miramar, and Caltech.

Over the past five years these two teams have matched up ten times with a split down the middle at 5-5.  The Bulldogs though have won the previous two meetings, which came during the 2019-20 season (83-73 & 85-60).
