Cross Country | NCAA DIII West Regional Championships: Men 10th, Women 7th

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The University of Redlands Cross Country teams had top-10 finishes, with the women finishing 7th and the men taking 10th at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championships Saturday morning. Graduate Student Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) and senior Isabella Glenn (Seattle, WA) both qualified for the NCAA Division III Cross-Country Championships, which are set to take place this weekend, Saturday, November 20 in Louisville, KY.

Men's 8K top 5 finishes

The Bulldogs top five finishers gave them a combined team time of 2:13:33.6. They finished 24 points behind the University of La Verne (9th place).  

Women's 6K top 5 finishers

The Bulldogs put together a strong 7th place finish as a team with a combined time from their top five runners of 1:58:46.6. UR was able to edge Caltech by 11 points.

What's next

The Bulldogs will send Cargile and Glenn to the NCAA Championships in Louisville, KY. In the last NCAA Championships, which took place in 2019, Cargile took 24th. In 2018 he finished 140th as a sophomore.

The Championships are next Saturday, November 20 at 8:30 a.m. local time. The Bulldogs will know what to expect in Kentucky as they were there for the Live in Lou Classic on October 2.
