XC | Women 12th and Men 22nd at Live in Lou Classic

LOUISVILLE, KY. – The University of Redlands Men's and Women's Cross-Country teams competed at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic over the weekend in Louisville, KY with the women placing 12th and the men 22nd.

For the women, they collected 377 points (12th Place out of 41 Teams), with an average time of 24:07.  For the men, they finished with 617 points (22nd out of 42 Teams), averaging a 26.54.  They were also only six seconds behind the 19th-21st team finishers.        

Graduate student Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) was the top male finisher for the Bulldogs in 67th place in a time of 25:55.3 in the 8K. Senior Isabella Glenn (Seattle, WA) led the women with a 24th place finish in a time of 22:55.0 in the 6K.

For the UR women joining Glenn was Chloe Bullock who took 37th (23:21.7), Alexis Wallace (Orangevale, CA) who finished 62nd (23:50.7), and Sheriane Greene (Grass Valley, CA) who was 121st (24:55.2). 

For the U of R men joining Cargile in the scoring was Quentin Olive-Larson (Fort Collins, CO), who finished 127th (26:54.3), Rogelio Salcido (Beaumont, CA) in 137th (26:57.7), and Nolan Brown (La Canada, CA) in 150th (27:10.9). 

The Redlands Cross-Country teams return to competition on Saturday, October 16 at the UCR Highlander Invitational, which will take place at the UCR Farm Course.
