Junior Tucker Cargile Garners Second Consecutive Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Honor

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) office announced that junior Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) earned his second consecutive men's cross country Athlete of the Week honors.

Cargile shined at the UCR Highlander Invitational last Saturday by resetting the Redlands school record in the 8k by nearly 17 seconds with a time of 24:33.5. He averaged a 4:56.4 mile to help him earn an eighth-place finish out of 234 runners. Cargile has placed in the top-10 in his last three races and has been the top finisher for the Bulldogs in his last six competitions, dating back to the 2018 season.
