Sophomore Attacker Holly Kvanvig Named SCIAC Women's Water Polo Offensive Athlete of the Week

The University of Redlands women's water polo team scored 35 goals in four games last weekend, led by sophomore attacker Holly Kvanvig (Beaverton, OR), who was named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Women's Water Polo Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Kvanvig paced her team with seven goals over four games at the Bulldog Invitational last weekend. Her best performance came against Concordia University Irvine, where she tallied three goals and also won a sprint. She came back to score a pair of goals in each of the next two games, including in a 13-4 win over Ottawa University (AZ). She also added an assist, a steal, and two drawn exclusions over the weekend.
