Redlands Women's Water Polo Struggles amidst Top Competition during ASU Invitational

The University of Redlands women's water polo team competed in the ASU Invitational in Tucson, AZ, over the past weekend by facing off against Wagner College (NY), Arizona State, and CSU Bakersfield. The Bulldogs struggled against the top-ranked teams and dropped three-straight games with difficult results.

Over the weekend, senior attack player Annie Kinney (Newport Beach, CA) and sophomore attack player Rachel Haney (Redmond, OR) led the way with two goals apiece. Additionally, Kinney dished out one assist.

Freshman utility player Kolby Kahahawai (Kailua, HI) netted the lone score for the Bulldogs against Arizona State.

Freshman utility player Rachel Nelson (San Juan Capistrano, CA), sophomore attack player MaryKate Hunter (Redlands, CA), freshman attack player Sami Walker (Taylorsville, UT), and sophomore attack player Michelle Na (Mercer Island, WA) each recorded a goal over the weekend.

The Bulldogs (2-12) face off against Harvard University and CSU Northridge on Thursday, March 17, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectfully, in Northridge.
