Junior Ally Busch Claims SCIAC Volleyball Specialist of the Week with Strong Defensive Effort

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced its weekly awards and junior libero Ally Busch (Long Beach, CA) garnered Volleyball Specialist of the Week honors with her performance at the Swarthmore Invitational in Pennsylvania.

Busch played an integral role in the Bulldogs' defense during four matches over the weekend. She competed in 16 sets and registered 117 total digs. Her high-caliber effort led to 7.13 digs per set, which currently exceeds the top NCAA Division III national ranking of individual digs per set by .38 digs. She recorded 43 digs against Rowan University (NJ) for her strongest performance of the tournament.
