SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Release No. 3

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands senior midfielder Sydney Louie (Lafayette, CA) was named the SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career. 

Sydney helped pace Redlands to an 11-7 win over Whittier College in SCIAC play last week. Louie was the catalyst for the Bulldogs' offense in the victory, netting three goals and two assists (five points). She finished with a 77.8% shot on goal percentage in addition to picking up a pair of groundballs and causing two turnovers. 

Redlands returns to conference play this Saturday, March 19 when they host Occidental College beginning at 7:00pm.
