2022 University of Redlands Women's Lacrosse Schedule
REDLANDS, Calif. – Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Suzette Soboti has officially released her 2022 schedule Tuesday, which includes nine home games inside Farquhar Field.
Over the past two years (2020 | 2021) the Maroon and Grey have been unable to play a full schedule due to COVID-19. They had a pair of contests against Chapman University in 2021 and totaled six games in 2020 before the rest of that season was cancelled. Their last full season came back in 2019 when they finished .500 at 8-8, 2-8 SCIAC.
This season Coach Soboti is really excited about her program and will get things going with a pair of exhibition games on the road against San Diego State (February 4 @ 4:00pm) and Corban (February 18 @ 6:30pm | George Fox hosting).
The season will then officially kick-off in the Pacific Northwest on Saturday, February 19 when they take on George Fox University. At the end of the month the Bulldogs will then go home and away within Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play hosting Occidental College on February 23 (7:00pm) before traveling to take on Pomona-Pitzer on February 26 (7:00pm).
A non-conference game against Aurora at home will open up March competition on March 3 (7:00pm). That then leads into another home-away schedule for SCIAC as they travel to take on Claremont-M-S on March 5 (1:00pm) before hosting Whittier College on March 12 (7:00pm). Two of the final three games within March will be non-conference bouts. UR will host Worcester State on March 14 (7:00pm), then will travel to take on Chapman University on March 22 (4:00pm) before hosting DePauw University on March 30 (7:00pm).
All seven games in the month of April will be conference opponents with four being at home and three away. The first two matchups will take place on the road against Cal Lutheran on April 6 (7:00pm) and Occidental College on April 9 (11:00am). A three game homestand will then occur with the Bulldogs hosting Pomona-Pitzer on April 13 (7:00pm), Claremont-M-S on April 20 (7:00pm), and Chapman University on April 22 (11:00am).
The final road game for 2022 will be April 27 against Whittier College (7:00pm) and Senior Day will take place April 30 against Cal Lutheran (11:00am).
The SCIAC Tournament is slated to be played May 4th & 7th.
