The University of Redlands and Bulldog Athletics would like to take a moment to celebrate the four lacrosse seniors whose spring season was sadly cut short due to the swiftly changing conditions of the current time.
First, we recognize a senior who has competed in over 95 minutes and has made 10 saves in her three seasons with the Maroon and Gray. Her best individual performance came at home with six saves against Occidental College earlier this season. She also earned a pair of saves in two other games this year, including a win over Cal Lutheran in February. This senior plans to graduate with a degree in Consumer and Marketing Psychology later this spring. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, #1 Lindsay Hope!
Next, we honor a senior who has contributed over 270 minutes between the posts and has made 46 saves in her three-year career with the Bulldogs. She has registered double-digit saves in two games this season, including a dominating 21-10 victory over Whittier at home in February. This Business Administration major has also recorded at least one save in all-but-one game in her career. From Simi Valley, California, #00 Allie Gillies!
Our next senior has dedicated four years to the Bulldogs and has started in 29 of the 53 games she has appeared in. For her career, she has tallied 17 goals and nine assists for 26 total points. She also has collected 21 ground balls and caused eight turnovers. This season, she dished out an assist in a 21-1 win at Cal Lutheran and scored a goal in the 21-10 victory against Whittier. This Psychology major plans to become a teacher or psychologist upon graduation later next month. From Bethesda, Maryland, #5 Charly Walter!
Last, but certainly not least, this senior has showcased her all-around game in four seasons with the Bulldogs. For her career, she has competed in 52 games, while starting in 47 of them. She currently sits eighth all-time in Redlands history with 120 goals, while also adding 18 assists for 138 career points. She has tallied 39 free position goals, 83 ground balls, 95 draw controls, and caused 49 turnovers. In addition, she finds the back of the net on over half of her shots with a 54.3 shot percentage. This two-time All-SCIAC member had her strongest performance of the year with a season-high four goals in a 21-1 victory over Cal Lutheran. This senior plans to start her own sustainable business model upon receiving her degree in Sustainable Business in April. From Tacoma, Washington, #18 Sadie Pickering!
