Senior Hanna Morford Named SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for Second Time this Season

For the second time this season, senior midfielder Hanna Morford (West Linn, OR) has been named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week for women's lacrosse.  She also represented the University of Redlands among the weekly accolades on March 18.

This time, Morford led her team with 16 goals in a 3-0 week for the Bulldogs.  She converted 69.6% of her shots and recorded an on-goal percentage of 87%.  Morford made the most of her free-position shots by converting three out of four.

In the Bulldogs' 20-0 win over Whitworth, she fired off five goals, followed that up with six in the team's 20-12 victory over the University of Chicago, and then supplied five to close out the week in the 17-7 decision against Whittier College.

In addition, she impacted the week by snagging 15 draw controls and six ground balls.

Finally, Morford owns 50 goals on the season, which place her behind the conference leaded by just one goal.
