The University of Redlands women's lacrosse team welcomed the Loggers of the University of Puget Sound (WA) to Farquhar Field for a non-conference showdown on Sunday afternoon.  With a total-team effort, the Bulldogs cruised to an 18-1 in-region victory while utilizing 24 players during the contest.

Redlands jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead after six minutes of action, with freshman midfielder Hanna Morford (West Linn, OR) initiating the offense off of an assist by senior midfielder Stephanie Garrett (San Diego, CA).

Although the Loggers fired off a goal, the Bulldogs quickly refocused for six unanswered netters to close out the first half with a 10-1 advantage. Freshman attack player Summer Stafford (Littleton, CO) accounted for two scores, while freshman attack player Adi Fellows (Albuquerque, NM) found the back of the net for the first official goal of her young career with the Maroon and Gray.

Sixty-one seconds into the second stanza, Garrett uncorked her third goal of the game to give the Bulldogs a 10-goal lead and the running clock.

Redlands continued to pour on the offense with a variety of players contributing to the scoring plays.  Senior midfielder Ellen Holt (Happy Valley, OR) registered her first assist of the season when she found Morford for the goal at the 24:57-mark.

Ten minutes later, freshman attack player Hayley Donnelly (Bellaire, TX) offered her first-career assist on a nice pass to sophomore midfielder Lacey Bjorndal (Sherwood, OR) for the Bulldogs' 15-1 lead.

Finally, Stafford closed out the game on back-to-back scores, with freshman attack player Kelsey Ruhl (Seattle, WA) and Fellows distributing the assists to her.  She finished the day with a career-high four netters on six shots.

Redlands dominated nearly every statistical category in impressive fashion.  The Bulldogs earned a 16-to-5 advantage in draw controls, with Garrett and Bjorndal each reeling in six.  Senior defender Sam Keary (Mission Viejo, CA) headed up the caused-turnover efforts, accounting for three of the team's nine, while also snagging three ground balls.

Senior goalkeeper Izzy Baez (Zionsville, IN) earned the win after 30 minutes of action with one save, before sophomore goalkeeper Quinn Egan (Greenwood Village, CO) finished out the contest and made two stops.  The duo faced a combined four shots.

Redlands (5-4) faces the DePauw University Tigers on Monday, March 21, at 7 p.m. on Farquhar Field.
