During the summer of 2015, Jack Stewart became the Head Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Redlands to fill the void left by Art Salvesen, who stepped down in order to fully enjoy retirement.

Stewart served as the Associate Head Women’s Golf Coach during the 2014-15 season and took on most of the on-course coaching responsibilities for the Maroon and Gray.  He and Salvesen joined forces to create a quality combination that helped propel the Bulldogs to their first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) title and inaugural NCAA Championship appearance.

Stewart looks to build upon the program's success while relying on his outstanding experience as a high school coach that spans more than two decades.  His numerous accolades between the boys’ and girls’ teams at Palm Desert High School include 18 league championships, seven CIF titles, and four Southern California championships.

In addition to coaching, Stewart owns a private business in the desert.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Union College (KY), where he competed in golf and cross country.
