Hannah Jugar named WGCA 1st Team All-American

REDLANDS, Calif. – For the third consecutive year junior Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA) has been named a 1st Team All-American selection by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) after leading the University of Redlands Women's Golf team to a Runner-Up finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships and a 2nd Place finish in the final Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Standings.

Jugar, who is also a three-time Division III All-West Region selection and All-Conference performer competed in eleven tournaments with a win, which came at the CA State Intercollegiate, and finished inside the Top 10 in nine of those events.  On the year she had a 74.00 Average with a low round score of 67 while totaling a 4.95 Par 5 Scoring Average, a 3.13 Par 3 Scoring Average, and a 4.18 Par 4 Scoring Average.  She currently holds a 17-10-2 Head-to-Head record against the Top-20 in Division III and ranks as the No. 1 player in the West Region and is ranked No. 5 nationally in Division III.    

Over her 24 rounds on the season 20 of them had scores in the 70's and another two in the 60's.  She took home the individual title in the CA State Intercollegiate (70-67), followed that up with a 2nd Place finish at the Redlands Fall Shootout (71-70). She shot a 74 at the DIII National Preview Tournament, took 9th at SCIAC No. 1 (79-73), tied for 3rd at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Event (73-71-69), took 5th at SCIAC No. 2 (84-73), and tied for 4th at the SCIAC Championships (74-70-83).
