The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) recently announced that junior Annie Hay (University Place, WA) and first-year Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA) landed on the All-West Region Team. This is Hay's second-consecutive award while Jugar makes her inaugural appearance.

The No. 4 women's golf team showcased two historic performances in its fall season, first at the California State Intercollegiate with Redlands' second-best record two-round total of 590 (297-293). The Maroon and Gray continued to thrill, winning its second-straight tournament, this time at the Bulldog Fall Classic where the team now tops the record books with the new lowest two-round total of 587 (298-289), which was previously set in the 2015-16 season at 588. They shined through two rounds, beating the nearest competitor by an astounding 12 strokes.

Individually, Hay has been solid all season with an adjusted scoring average of 77.66, which ranks 27th in Division III and owns a comparative record of 1140-27. At the Bulldog Fall Classic, Hay finished in a three-way tie for fourth place with a 146 (74-72). She recorded eight of the team's 28 birdies and topped the competition shooting one-under on par fours for a 3.95 average.

Jugar sits second in the Nation with an adjusted scoring average of 73.66 and a comparative record of 1149-2. She impressed at the California State Intercollegiate by earning medalist honors with consistent rounds of 71 and 72. She dazzled by shooting five-under on par fours for an average of 3.75 to lead the field. She also ranked high with six birdies and 24 pars.

In the spring season, Jugar took the top individual spot at the SCIAC No. 1 Tournament. She shot a 69 on day one for first place and impressed with another 69 on day two to secure the top spot (138) by a huge nine-stroke difference.
