Redlands Women's Golf Cracks Top 10 in Latest NCAA Division III WGCA Poll

After battling for second place at the recent Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship Tournament, the University of Redlands women's golf team jumped up to No. 9 on the final NCAA Division III Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) poll. This marks the highest ranking for the Bulldogs since the 2016-17 campaign when they were ranked No. 7 and led by current Assistant Coach Caroline Ordian '18.

This season, Redlands boasts an average score of 79.32, which is 10th in the country. Individually, sophomore Annie Hay (University Place, WA) ranks 10th in the country with an average score of 76.48. She is particularly effective on par fours, where she ranks seventh with an average tally of 4.28. In addition, Hay has tapped in 37 birdies on the year for 12th-best in the country.  First-year Kendall Nicholson (Bellevue, WA) impresses with a tied-for-eighth total of 39 birdies this season. They both aid in the Bulldogs' 147 birdies on the year, which is seventh in the country.

Redlands now awaits a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championships in Houston, Texas, which take place on Tuesday, May 14.  The NCAA's announcement will be made on May 6.
