No. 4 Redlands Women’s Golf Finishes Seventh at Las Vegas Desert Classic

The No. 4 University of Redlands women's golf team teed off at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Las Vegas Desert Classic on Sunday and Monday, earning a two-round total of 659 to take seventh place amongst various NCAA Division I, II, and III schools. 

Senior Amberlynn Dorsey (Highland, CA) led the Bulldogs with her 36-hole score of 159 (79-80) to tie for 12th overall.  She was one of two golfers in the field to record an eagle at the tournament.  She also tapped in four birdies.

Junior Raquel Gordon (Culver City, CA) served as the team's No. 2-golfer with a tally of 164, which came off of consistent rounds of 82.  She registered a team-best 21 pars, which helped her to tie for 27th in the individual standings.

Senior McKenna Pautsch (San Clemente, CA) signed her two-day scorecard with a 168 (84-84) while impressing on the par threes with a field-best average of 2.88 for minus one.  She also tallied 19 pars during the event and tied for 33rd overall.

Finally, junior Kari Gordon (Culver City, CA) entered the club house on Monday afternoon after shooting back-to-back rounds of 88 for a 176. 

Redlands looks forward to competing in the George Fox Westbrook Invitational on Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13, in Peoria, AZ, at the Westbrook Village Golf Course.
