The sixth-ranked University of Redlands women's golf team wrapped up the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament No. 2 on Sunday with a first-place total of 594. Among the team's five top-20 finishers, freshman Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) led the impressive outing at Upland Hills Country Club with another medalist honor.

Ordian recorded a two-round score of 143 by firing off a field-best 70 during Saturday's opening 18 holes before entering the club house with a 73 on Sunday.

Redlands gained four additional top-20 finishers to reveal its depth and talent.  Junior Amberlynn Dorsey (Highland, CA) tied for third place in the individual standings with consistent rounds of 73-74 (147), while junior McKenna Pautsch (San Clement, CA) tied for sixth with scores of 74 and 77 (151).  Sophomore Raquel Gordon (Culver City, CA) tallied a tied-for-10th-place score of 154 (77-77), with sophomore Kari Gordon (Culver City, CA) and senior Dalton Meade (Sandy, OR) each firing off a two-round total of 156 to finish tied for 17th.

As a team, the Maroon and Gray finished 13 strokes ahead of 13th-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and 19 better than third-place Whittier College.

With the aggregate score of all conference rounds determining the champion, the Bulldogs sit in prime position with a 43-stroke lead on second-place CMS.  Nonetheless, Redlands needs to finish strong at the final three rounds during the SCIAC Championships, which take place Sunday, April 26, through Tuesday, April 28, at Oak Valley Golf Club.
