The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) office announced its weekly awards and sophomore forward Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was named the women's basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

Jerrier averaged a near double-double with eight points and 10.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for Redlands. In the first 73-67 victory at the University of La Verne, Jerrier came off the bench to notch 11 points and 13 rebounds. She also added two blocks and two dimes. In the second 64-50 win against Whittier College, Jerrier tallied five points and eight rebounds, while anchoring the defense with two blocks.

For the season, Jerrier averages 7.1 rebounds and is second on the team with 1.1 blocks per game.
