Graduate Student Reyna Ta’amu Garners All-America Result at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

Graduate student Reyna Ta'amu (Lakewood, CA) shined for the University of Redlands on the final day of the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston, Massachusetts, by gaining All-America honors in the Shot Put.

During Saturday's competition, Ta'amu finished in fourth place with a distance of 47' 3 ¾". After hitting 40' 11¾" on her first attempt, she immediately launched her longest throw of the day to earn All-America honors as one of the top-eight finishers at her inaugural appearance at the national indoor meet.

This marks her second All-America nod following last year's honor in the same event for outdoor track & field.

The Bulldog track & field teams return home to host the Redlands Invitational on Friday, March 15, at 3 p.m.
