Jimmy Adams
Title: Diving Coach

Jimmy Adams joined the University of Redlands as diving coach in August of 2018.

After a 10-year stint as the diving coach at SCIAC rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges from 2004-2014, Adams makes the move to the University of Redlands with plenty of experience.  In addition, he serves as the head coach and owner of Riverside Elite Diving in Riverside.

Adams won the Colorado State Diving Championship in 1989. He also captured a silver medal in cliff diving for Team USA in 2003 while also finishing 11th in the men’s open.

A current member of USA Diving and AAU Diving, Adams is excited to continue teaching the sport to young divers and to help them achieve their goals.

Hailing from Colorado Springs, he currently resides in Riverside with his wife Stacy and children Delilah and Zack.  In his spare time, he enjoys cheering on the Denver Broncos.
