2021-22 (Junior)

Opened the season with career best times in the 100 Free (52.20), 50 Fly (28.66), 100 Fly (1:01.90), and 100 IM (1:00.45) at the Bulldog Pentathlon (Oct. 16) ... At the tri-meet between Redlands vs. La Verne vs. Biola, Shim swam a career best time in the 100 Free (52.03) ... Then at the Redlands vs. Pomona-Pitzer (Nov. 13) dual he added two more career best times in the 100 Free (51.53) and 200 Free (1:54.01) ... In Washington at the Logger Invitational (Dec. 3-5) he swam a of season best time in the 50 Breast (31.33) and then had a career best 50 Free (23.88) ... At the Caltech vs. Occidental vs. Redlands (Jan. 22) tri-meet Shim swam a season best time in the 50 Breast (31.23) and career best time in the 50 Free (23.82) ... Ending his junior season, Shim closed strong with career bests in the 100 Free (51.46) and 200 Free (1:52.63) with a pair of season best times in the 50 Breast (31.20) and 100 Breast (1:05.68).

Opened his career with a career best time in the 100 Breast (1:08.92) at the Bulldog Pentathlon (Oct. 12) ... Shim posted career best times in the 50 Breast (31.53), 100 Breast (1:06.25), and the 200 Breast (2:26.38) at the Caltech Invitational (Nov. 23-24) ... Ended the season with four career best times at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 20-23).
