It was recently confirmed that University of Redlands senior diver Sami Scarano (Boulder, CO) has qualified for the NCAA Division III Region 2 Diving Championships for the fourth time in her career. The event takes place at Trinity University's (TX) Hixon Natatorium on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, February 29. 

Most recently, Scarano was named Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Diver of the Year after finishing in third place off the 3-meter board at the conference championships with a final score of 389.85 and topping the podium with a first-place score of 422.80 off the 1-meter board.

Scarano will compete in both the one-meter and three-meter events in Texas.

Her best performance as Regionals thus far came last year with her 10th place showing off the 1-meter board with a 342.85 score.
