For the first time in her four-year career, senior diver Sami Scarano (Boulder, CO) takes third and a spot on the podium off the three-meter board at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Diving Championships on Saturday afternoon.

After 11 dives, Scarano finished in third place with a final score of 389.85.

During the season, Scarano took first off the three-meter board at almost all conference meets consistently scoring a 243 with her best outing coming against Cal Lutheran with a score of 246.50.

She looks forward to competing off the one-meter board tomorrow, Sunday, February 16, at Axelrood Pool at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges with prelims starting at 9:30 a.m.
