After leading the University of Redlands softball team to a 3-0 conference opening week, sophomore shortstop Natalie Horton (Palmdale, CA) was tabbed the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (SCIAC) Hitter of the Week.
Horton was a huge part of the SCIAC sweep of Chapman University last weekend. Horton impressed with an outrageous .667 batting average and slugging percentage and .714 on-base percentage. She also scored five runs and tallied three RBI. With speed on the base paths, Horton swiped three bags as well. The Bulldogs now hold a 4-1 overall record and 3-0 mark in conference.
