SCIAC Men's Water Polo Weekly Release No. 3

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Men's Water Polo Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands junior attacker Andrew Higginson (San Diego, CA) was selected as the Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career. 

Higginson made his presence felt throughout the weekend of the Air Force Academy Rare Air Challenge as the University of Redlands went 2-2 across the two days claiming victories over Iona University and Westcliff University. The junior transfer totaled nine goals, a drawn exclusion and four steals across the four-game weekend, most notably putting away five goals in the 14-13 win over Iona.

Redlands returns to the pool this Saturday, September 24 when they open up Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play against Chapman University beginning at 11:00am.
