After a pair of wins, last weekend for the No. 25 University of Redlands men's tennis team, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced that junior Brysl Libao (Redlands, CA) captured the Athlete of the Week award after senior Brad Cummins earned the honor last week. 

Libao went undefeated in a strong 2-0 week for the Bulldogs. He helped the Maroon and Gray to a 7-2 victory over Christopher Newport University on Friday with an 8-1 doubles victory at No. 1 and a 6-2, 6-3 win from No. 3 singles. In the 9-0 sweep over Hardin-Simmons, Libao collected another 8-1 doubles win as well as a quick 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles. He also scored the first points for the Bulldogs in three of his four matches.

Redlands (3-2) returns to action on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. against No. 28 Whitman College.
