The 15th-ranked University of Redlands men's tennis team battled it out against the No. 28 Brandeis University (MA) Judges on Friday afternoon on Verdieck Courts.  After dropping all three doubles matches, the Bulldogs rallied for an impressive comeback by winning five of the six singles showdowns.

After an uncharacteristic sweeping loss in doubles, the Bulldogs buckled down in singles to rally back for the 5-4 win.  It began freshman Bryant Johnson's (Fair Oaks, CA) dominating win at the No. 3 slot by scores of 6-1, 6-1, which inspired an equally impressive performance by junior Parker Wilson (Carlsbad, CA), who cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 4.

Sophomore Joey Dulle (St. Louis, MO) kept things rolling for Redlands with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph at the top slot, before freshman Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) rallied for a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 victory over his No. 2 counterpart.

Leading 4-3, the Bulldogs looked to the solid contributions of junior Jake Ly (Torrance, CA), as he took down his No. 6 opponent, 6-0, 6-3, to seal the deal.

Redlands (3-0) looks forward to hosting Washington & Lee University (VA) on Friday, February 26, in a 2 p.m. non-conference match on Verdieck Courts.
