The No. 18 University of Redlands men's tennis team notched its 10th win of the 2015 season on Tuesday by cruising to an 8-1 victory over the visiting Boxers of Pacific University (OR) on Verdieck Courts in non-conference action.  The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead after sweeping the doubles matches and then took care of business in five of the six singles showdowns.

The dynamic duo of seniors Gram Leahy (Portland, OR) and Ted Burchett (Gold River, CA) recorded the first point for the Maroon and Gray with an 8-2 victory at the No. 2 slot.

Freshman Joey Dulle (St. Louis, MO) and sophomore Jake Ly (Torrance, CA) prevailed at No. 3 in an 8-4 decision, before the senior tandem of Patrick Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) and Nick Cummins (Rancho Mirage, CA) preserved the Bulldog sweep with an 8-5 victory at the top spot.

In singles, Lipscomb kept the team's momentum going by cruising to a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 1, while senior Taylor Hunt (Seattle, WA) made his return to the line-up a memorable one by clinching Redlands' fifth point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6.

Furthermore, the Maroon and Gray gained positive outcomes at Nos. 2, 3, and 4, with Cummins, sophomore Parker Wilson (Carlsbad, CA), and Dulle reigning victorious over their respective counterparts.
