Senior Guard Hass Berry Shoots His Way to SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced its weekly awards and senior guard Hass Berry (Riverside, CA) has been named the conference's men's basketball Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Berry was a threat on both ends in a 1-1 week for the Maroon and Gray. He began the week by dropping 19 points on 3-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc and nabbing two steals in a four-point loss to Chapman University. He then went 6-for-8 from downtown and 8-for-12 from the field en route to a season-high 23 points, three assists, and another two steals in a 105-86 victory over Whittier College.

For the season, Berry has started in all 17 games and averages 8.8 points on 42.9% shooting from the field and 40.3% from downtown.
