Football Preview: Redlands vs Chapman (Homecoming)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands Football team extended their winning streak to three games against Pomona-Pitzer last Saturday with a 34-18 home victory. This week the Bulldogs remain at Ted Runner Stadium with a Homecoming game against Chapman University, tomorrow, Saturday, October 23 with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.

This week's opponent is 5-1 just like the U of R and are on a two-game winning streak. The Panthers have played in two one-score games this season, going 1-1 in those contests. In their other four games they have a margin of victory of 27 points per game (PPG).

In the previous matchup between these two programs, which was back in 2019, Redlands lost on the road 21-18. In each of the previous five meetings, the home team has won. The last time the road team earned a win was in 2014 when the Panthers came to Ted Runner and pulled out a 31-27 win.
