The University of Redlands and Bulldog Athletics welcome all of you to the beautiful Thompson Aquatic Center for the 2016 SCIAC Women’s Water Polo Championships. We are proud to host this event on Friday, April 22, through Sunday, April 24. We are looking forward to a highly-competitive tournament, featuring all nine of our conference’s institutions. Live Streaming: All games for the SCIAC Women's Water Polo Championships will be broadcasted through the SCIAC portal. Per SCIAC policy, viewers will be charged $10 per day during the tournament.

Location: The Thompson Aquatic Center, 1219 E. Brockton Ave., Redlands, CA 92373
Directions: Due to Commencement weekend activities on Friday afternoon/evening and all day Saturday, the University St. exit that you typically use and is the most direct route to campus will be very crowded, with many people unfamiliar with the area. We would encourage you to consider exiting at Orange Ave., continue east along the freeway to the stoplight at Orange Street (Chipotle will be on your right). Turn left under the freeway and continue north to the second stop light, which is Brockton Ave. Turn right on Brockton and continue east to University Street. The stadium parking lot is on the corner of University and Brockton, which is where you will park. After parking, walk to the Thompson Aquatic Center entrance, directly east of the parking lot.
Parking: There will not be a charge for parking, nor any special parking permits required for parking at the University of Redlands. The primary parking for this event is located in the Ted Runner Stadium parking lot on the corner of University St. and Brockton Ave., directly west of the Thompson Aquatic Center. Additional parking can be found on Brockton Avenue on a first-come-first-served basis. All teams traveling by bus are asked to park the team bus in the dirt lot. Handicap parking is available along the curb of the Serrao Lawn, immediately west of the Thompson Aquatic Center.
Designated Entrances: There is only one entrance into the Thomson Aquatic Center and all participants, officials, staff and spectators are asked to use the main entrance of the facility at all times. All spectators will be asked to show a SCIAC ID or purchase a wristband for the day ($10.00), prior to entering the facility.
Tournament Entrance Fees: SCIAC ID (Students, Faculty & Staff) Free Children 12 and under Free All others $10.00 per day Senior Citizens (55 and older) and Veterans with ID $5.00Tournament Credentials are required for all tournament participants, officials, and staff, and will be provided to teams upon arrival at the competition site on day one. The credentials are to be worn at all times except during competition. The credentials may not be given to family, friends, etc. to avoid admission charges.
Media Credentials: Each school will be allowed a maximum of two per day for the official team photographers. These credentials will be checked out with ID and must be returned at the end of each day. Please submit the name(s) of your official team photographer(s) to Tournament Director Tom Whittemore no later than Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 12 noon. Any additional requests for media access by newspapers, newspaper photographers, etc., should be sent to Sports Information Director Rachel Roche as soon as possible.
SCIAC Championship T- Shirts: A limited supply of SCIAC Women's Water Polo Championship t-shirts will be available for sale during the event. The short-sleeve t-shirts are $15.00 each. Sizes are limited.
