Freshman Savannah Casey Represents Redlands on the SCIAC All-Sportsmanship Volleyball Team

It was announced earlier this week that freshman Savannah Casey (Encinitas, CA) of the University of Redlands was named to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) All-Sportsmanship Women's Volleyball Team.

"Savannah is an outstanding young woman whose love of the game comes through every time she steps on the court.  She approaches every opportunity with integrity and a great respect for her teammates, coaches, and opponents," stated Head Coach Lisa Lindberg.

As a first-year Bulldog, Casey worked her way into the starting rotation by playing both right side and outside.  She knocked down 52 kills and four aces while also supplying 24 digs and four total blocks.

The SCIAC All-Sportsmanship Team includes one representative from each member institution as decided upon by the respective head coaches.
