Redlands Women's Tennis Breaks into ITA Top 40 at the No. 34 Spot

It was recently released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) that the University of Redlands women's tennis team begins the spring with a ranking of No. 34 in NCAA Division III. In addition, Redlands also comes in at No. 8 out of 10 teams among the west regional rankings.

The Bulldogs face a tough schedule that includes nine nationally-ranked teams.  Within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) alone, Redlands competes against three schools equipped with spots among the ITA's top-40 list.

Earlier in the season, first-year Kendall Bolock (Yucaipa, CA) made the most of her inaugural collegiate competition by going undefeated through the main singles draw of Flight B to capture the championship at the ITA Fall West Regional Championships.

Redlands jumps into spring competition with an exhibition match on Saturday, February 1, at Westmont College.  The Bulldogs return home to take on Concordia University-Irvine on Saturday, February 8, at 11 a.m. on Verdieck Courts.
