Redlands Women's Golf Gets it Done in the Classroom with Three WGCA All-American Scholars

It was announced earlier today that three members of the University of Redlands women's golf team were among 1,096 collegiate golfers across all divisions to be recognized as Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars. To attain this prestigious honor, student-athletes must meet a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 and compete in at least 12 rounds during the 2018-19 season.

Sophomore Annie Hay (University Place, WA) receives her second-consecutive such award on the heels of her strongest season as a Bulldog.  While averaging 76.52 over 25 rounds, she gained an All-West Region nod and an All-America Second-Team award.  During the national tournament, she fired off a four-round total of 309 to tie for 15th.

Sophomore Mariah Moon (La Quinta, CA) and first-year Dana Condon (Palm Desert, CA) also showcased their talents on the links and in the classroom with their inaugural All-American Scholar selection. Moon competed in 25 rounds for a season average of 81.48, while Condon scored an 82.57 over 21 rounds.

Overall, this talented trio helped Redlands finish 10th at the NCAA Division III Championships.
