Redlands Women's Golf Rises to No. 11 on WGCA Coaches Poll

The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the newest rankings, with the University of Redlands women's golf team bumping up one spot to No. 11 in NCAA Division III.

After only receiving votes to start the season, the Bulldogs have made a big splash in the national polls this fall with a steady, upward trajectory to No. 11. Most notably, Redlands finished fifth at the high-caliber NCAA Division III National Preview Invite on the heels of senior Keilee Bessho's (La Cañada, CA) third-place showing.

The Bulldogs join Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (No. 7), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (No. 10), Whittier College (No. 12), and Occidental College (No. 21) as representatives of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) among the most current rankings.

In addition, Golfstat's rankings place the Bulldogs at No. 10 with an adjusted scoring average of 77.79.

Redlands returns to action in the spring when it co-hosts the Redlands-CMS Invite on Saturday, February 2, and Sunday, February 3.
