Junior Kellis Dack Earns SCIAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week in Opening Weekend

In the opening weekend of the University of Redlands women's basketball season, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced that junior guard Kellis Dack (Vancouver, WA) was named the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Dack opened up the weekend by recording a team-leading 13 rebounds in the 63-49 win over Southwestern (TX). She also added seven points, two assists, and two steals. In the 53-50 victory over St. Catherine (MN) Dack was second on the team with 10 points and six rebounds while leading the squad with four assists. Dack totaled 19 rebounds over two games with four coming on the offensive end.

Dack currently ranks second in the conference with 9.5 rebounds per game.
