Select members of the University of Redlands men's and women's track & field teams flew to Seattle, Washington, to compete in the Seattle Pacific University Final Indoor Qualifier.  While competing at the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility, the Bulldogs put together solid results

Senior Luke Bohlinger (Mercer Island, WA) crossed the finish line second in the 60 Meters with a time of 6.98.  He also won the 200 Meters by stopping the clock in 22.20.

Sophomore Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) impressed in both of his events as well by unleashing career-best efforts.  He won the 800 Meters in 1:53.79 and topped the competition in the Mile with a time of 4:13.48.  He now ranks 30th in the 800 and 32nd in the Mile among the fastest Division III student-athletes.

Finally, senior Joseph Esparza (Arcata, CA) ran the 3000 Meters in 8:41.12 for the fastest time of his career and eighth place at the meet.

As the only Bulldog woman at the meet, junior Maria Ramirez (Orange, CA) fired off a career-best time of 10:21.02 in the 3000 Meters to take fifth at the high-caliber meet.

Redlands now awaits the NCAA's official announcement for indoor qualifiers.

The team looks forward to competing in the opening Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Multi-Dual on Saturday, March 2, at 10 a.m.  The meet takes place inside of Ted Runner Stadium on Ashel Cunningham Track.
