COMPLETE RESULTS

The University of Redlands wrapped up a stellar showing at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, WI, with additional All-America performances on Saturday.  In the team standings, the Bulldog women tallied 13.5 points to tie for 13th place, while the men came in tied-for-15th place with 13 points.

Saturday's action began with the talented 4x100 Relay of first-years Domanick Murray (Palm Springs, CA) and MJ Wheeler (St. Louis, MO), junior Luke Bohlinger (Mercer Island, WA), and sophomore Maliq Champion (Beaumont, CA).  Redlands' quartet uncorked a season-best time of 40.971 to finish sixth at the national meet for All-America recognition.  In addition, this impressive mark lands them third all-time in Redlands history.

Sophomore Jessica Fields (Las Vegas, NV) also secured All-America status by firing off a fifth-place time of 14.28 in the 100 Hurdles.  Later in the day, she tried her talents in the 400 Hurdles, finishing ninth with a career-best time of 1:01.44.  This was a huge improvement from her seeding of 18th while also bettering her own school record.

In addition, Bohlinger competed in the 100 and 200 Meters with solid results, becoming an All-American in each event.  After taking fifth in the 100 with a time of 10.90, he moved up the podium to third place in the 200 with a time of 21.39.  He leaves the 2018 NCAA Championships with three new All-America nods, including one as a member of the 4x100 Relay.

Finally, senior Wyatt Pannabecker (Choteau, MT) entered the Triple Jump as the final qualifier of 20 top-notch competitors.  After six jumps on Saturday, he sat in eighth place in the standings with a career-best leap of 48' 6" for another All-America nod for the Bulldogs.  He uncorked the fourth-best mark in Redlands history during his second attempt of the day.

Overall, the Bulldogs' electric 11 impressed in a fine outing at the NCAA Division III Championships and heads home with eight All-America nods as the last team competing for Redlands in 2017-18.
