The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released the 2023 Individual Scholar All-America team Monday recognizing a total of 2,290 (1,270 women and 1,020 men) swimmers and divers as Scholar All-Americans for the 2022-23 season.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester and the University of Redlands Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving teams made the list.
It was formally announced at the University of Redlands Honors Convocation during Commencement Weekend that men's swimmer Tom Jansen (Pleasant Hill, CA) and women’s golfer Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA) were named the 2023 Frank Serrao Senior Scholar-Athletes of the Year.

ATLANTA – Sydney Patterson (Hilo, Hawaii) wrapped up the 3-meter and 1-meter diving events on Friday and Saturday morning at the NCAA Diving Regionals hosted by Emory University. Patterson took 10th in the 3-meter with 349.60 points on Friday and then on Saturday she took 13th in the 1-meter with 336.00 points. Her finishes are improvements of seven places in the 3-meter and two places in the 1-meter in comparison to her 2022 regional finishes.
REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands will have at least one participant at the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held in March in Greensboro, North Carolina, and that is swimmer Tom Jansen (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) who was named to the All-SCIAC team following his second-place finish in the 1650 Free, the event he will swim in North Carolina.
