U of R Divers Perform Well on Final Day of NCAA Regional Championships

Junior divers Jacob Miner (Antioch, CA) and Sami Scarano (Boulder, CO) represented the University of Redlands well by wrapping up their trip to the 2019 NCAA Division III Regional Championships in Grinnell, Iowa, with solid marks on Saturday morning.

Miner highlighted the day by earning All-Region honors off the three-meter board with a solid score of 429.65 for sixth place. He earns this distinction for the third time in his career and matches last year's finish on this board.

Scarano rounded out the top ten for the women's competition with a score of 342.85 on the one-meter board.  With her 10th-place showing, she rose three places from a year ago.

The Bulldogs look forward to cheering on senior Wendy McAleer (Simi Valley, CA) at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, which take place on Wednesday, March 20, through Saturday, March 23, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina.  She will compete in the 100 Fly, 200 Fly, and 200 Individual Medley.
