Senior Ellie Jaques Completes Bulldog Career with All-America Honorable Mention Nod in 200 Breast at National Meet

Senior Ellie Jaques (Corona, CA) completed her University of Redlands swimming career on the final night of the four-day NCAA Division III Championships by representing the Bulldogs in the 200 Breast.  She finished her last race in 16th place with a time of 2:20.94 to earn another Honorable Mention All-America nod.

Earlier in the day, she dropped a significant amount of time off her career-best mark with a preliminary time of 2:18.92 to break the school record and qualify for the consolation final.  To say the least, she left it all in the pool.  With her 16th-place finish, she moved up 10 spots from her qualifying position.

Earlier in the week, Jaques also competed in the 400 Individual Medley and finished 25th with a time of 4:32.63.

She closed out her Bulldog career with various national, conference, and school accolades as a decorated member of the Redlands swimming & diving program.
